- Marius is in Rome and Sula decides to march into Rome
- Sula overpowers Marius's army and pushes them out of Rome
- Sula does not take power in Rome
- Door is now open for generals to lead Armies in Rome
- Julius Caesar as a young man wants to bring back his powerful family
- Runs for highest office in the Roman senate
- Men running for Consulship needed the support of Patrician allies
- Caesar goes straight to the people of Rome
- He gets the vote of the man on the street
- He wins the consulship to the disliking of the Senate
- Senate makes it miserable to Caesar
- The other Consulship is the political opposite of Caesar
- After Consulship, you are sent off into the Provinces of Rome to become governor
- Send Caesar to Gull (middle of nowhere) to be the governor
- Caesar decides to campaign and conquer Gull into Britain
- Romans found the city of London
- Caesar crosses the river RUBICON and says "The die is cast."
- When Senators hear about this, they freak out, and hide behind a general named Pompey
- The civil war begins

- Have a decisive battle at Pharsalus
- Caesar and Mark Antony defeat the power of Pompey
- Pompey escapes to Egypt and is met by a assassin who cuts his head off
- Caesar goes to look for Pompey and is presented with his head
- Caesar thinks its disrespectful for Egyptians to cut a Roman general's head off
- Caesar stays in Egypt and meets Cleopatra
- Cleopatra is the last in the line of the Ptolomeic rulers
- Caesar goes back to Italy and is hailed as a leader for the rest of his life
